Peacebuilding & Civic Engagement

Train 1,000 youth leaders in dialogue and conflict resolution, reducing violent incidents by 40% within 24 months, promote coexistence and community trust across 5 conflict-prone states in South Sudan Peace begins when youth take the lead. Gaaniko, a former displaced youth, leads peace dialogues reducing tensions between returnees and host communities

Health Services

Establish 5 youth-friendly clinics offering mental health, reproductive health, Hepatitis and HIV/TB services for 5000 young people, Decrease Hepatitis incidence by 30% and increase service uptake by 40%, Amina, 19, accessed counseling at a YAPD Mobile clinic after surviving trauma from displacement

Health Services

Provide scholarships + digital Literacy support for 150 refugee/IDP girls to complete primary, Secondary to university education, Boost girls’ retention by 70% within 3 years. Fabiola, a refugee girl in Juba, became a peer mentor after completing her studies through YAPD’s scholarship program

Child Protection & SGBV Prevention

Deploy community protection teams and family tracing units to reduce child rights violations by 50% within 12 months, provide psychosocial support to 1,000 survivors and reunite 100 separated children. Martha, a survivor of early marriage, accessed counseling and legal aid through YAPD’s child protection unit.

Environmental Health & Climate Change

Train 500 youth leaders in waste management and clean energy adoption, reducing fuelwood use by 60% within 36 months, Lower respiratory illness by 30% in target communities. Peter leads a youth clean-up team turning plastic waste into eco-bricks for community classrooms

Legal Aid & Access to Justice

Launch mobile legal clinics reaching 1,000 youth and women in refugee and IDP settlements, resolve Proposed 200 cases and raise rights awareness by 70%. Fatima reclaimed her land rights after accessing YAPD’s mobile legal clinic.

Youth Empowerment & Inclusion
