WHO WE ARE

The Youth Association for Peace and Development (YAPD) is a Youth and refugee-led, non-profit national organization operating across several states in South Sudan. Founded to respond to the deep-rooted challenges of poverty, conflict, and marginalization, YAPD works to empower vulnerable communities particularly youth, women, and children through humanitarian assistance, social development, and sustainable livelihoods

Food Security & Livelihoods

Capacity building for farmers, seed multiplication, and support to agro-enterprises to fight hunger and improve household resilience.

Health & Wellbeing

Focus on youth-friendly services, mental health, reproductive health rights, disease prevention (HIV, hepatitis, TB), and health policy advocacy.

Peace building & Civic Engagement

Youth-led leadership, civic education, conflict resolution, and inclusive dialogue platforms to promote sustainable peace.
